Practical application of HiProMine’s innovative ingredients in the daily diet of Pinschers

Challenge

Marta Lichnerowicz is a dog breeder, an animal psychologist, and a veterinary technician with extensive experience working with dogs. She is currently deepening her expertise in nutrition. In her breeding program she emphasizes quality, ensuring health, condition, and proper socialization of her dogs from their earliest days through old age. She understands the critical role that optimal nutrition plays in dogs’ health, especially in relation to behavior and physical condition.

Solution

Start of Cooperation with HiProMine
Collaboration with HiProMine began when Marta, deepening her knowledge during her doctoral studies, recognized the impact of modern nutritional components on dogs’ health. As a nutritionist aware of the importance of gut microbiota for animal welfare, she and HiProMine agreed to test how HiProMine’s functional components would affect her dogs’ health and condition. The trials were designed to deliver clear scientific value.

Method of collaboration – project steps and execution:

  • Diet trials with HiProMine functional components:
Marta opted for trials using food enriched with HiProMine functional ingredients. The trials were conducted three times ,over four weeks each, on adult dogs. In each round, the control diet was balanced with a different primary meat source: rabbit, lamb, and turkey. Treatment groups were rotated so that changes in condition, behavior, or coat appearance could be assessed objectively.
  • Ingredient balancing:
The food was balanced for protein, vitamins, and minerals, in line with FEDIAF and NFC standards. Marta worked closely with the HiProMine team and an external pet food manufacturer to tailor the right dosage for dogs with various nutritional needs.
  • Behavior and health monitoring:
During the trial, Ms. Marta observed changes in the dogs’ behavior, especially levels of activity, behaviour and coat condition. Digestibility tests were also conducted, along with assessments of the diet’s impact on gut microbiota.

Process and tools
While working together with HiProMine, Ms. Marta collaborated closely on both feed formulation and monitoring the dogs’ health. This included digestibility tests, evaluating coat quality, and observing behavior. Advanced technology was also applied to closely track the feeding process and ensure the diet’s effectiveness. The project was also a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience.

Result

After four weeks of trials with a diet enriched with HiProMine’s functional components, significant improvements in dogs’ behavior were noticed:

  • Calmer behaviour:  Dogs became less noisy, excessive barking ceased, and the animals seemed noticeably more relaxed.
  • Improved coat condition: The quality of the dogs’ coats improved, becoming glossier and smoother. The diet enriched with HiProMine components also positively affected coat coloration, which for Marta, as a breeder, was a very welcome outcome.
  • No digestive issues: The food led to regular, healthy stools, reducing incidences of diarrhea which had been quite frequent in the breeding facility when using one of the control diets.etter
  • Digestibility: Digestibility tests showed higher digestive efficiency compared to the control groups.
Animal psychologist, and veterinary technician

Marta Lichnerowicz

„Through collaboration with HiProMine I noticed a considerable improvement in my dogs’ behavior. The food with functional HiProMine components had a positive impact on their behaviour, better coat condition, and improved digestion. For me, this is a true game changer and I happily recommend such diets to other breeders. Especially because, as a nutritionist and animal psychologist, many scientific studies in this field were confirmed by my own tests.”

Summary

HiProMine delivers more than ingredients – it delivers value. Working with Marta Lichnerowicz demonstrates how functional components can form the foundation of a truly modern approach to dog nutrition, assisting breeders in pursuing health, comfort, and responsible animal development.
